The Pelican BriteLite™ is submersible to 500 feet. This hand held pistol grip flashlight produces 60,000 candlepower in each filament. Pelican's exclusive feature dual filament back-up safety lamp allows for 60 hours total lamp life (30 hours per filament). The special buoyancy control ballast weight allows the BriteLite™ to float beam up for boating use or sink as desired for scuba applications. The Pelican BriteLite™ is not approved for hazardous location use.
